Kavin Raj is a South Indian film and television actor and television anchor. He first appeared in the Star Vijay channel’s television serials as an actor. He played the main lead character Shiva in ‘Kana Kaanum Kaalangal’. Later, he went on to play different roles like Vicky in ‘Thayumanavam’, Murugan in ‘Saravanan Meenatchi’and Vettaiyan in ‘Saravanan Meenatchi’.
In his film career, this young actor has appeared in movies like Pizza in 2012, Indru Netru Naalai in 2015, Sathriyan alongside Vikram Prabhu in 2017, Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma in 2017, and Aan Devathai in 2017.
As a television presenter, Kavin Raj has successfully hosted the ‘Kings of Dance’ dance-reality show in Star Vijay, ‘Vataiyadu Vilayadu’, and Vijay Television Awards 2015 and 2017. He won the Favourite Hero Award in the 2015 Vijay Television Awards for his role in the ‘Saravanan Meenatchi’ television serial.
